JBL Decade L26 early model loudspeakers
Not in stock. We can find one pair of this series for you.
We present you an early JBL Decade L26 pair. Early models (here probably around 1973) used LE25-2 tweeters while later ones use the LE25-4, that you can recognise by the two red dots on the tweeter wire solderings. This model has also the grille pegs in white, that will become black with later models.
This pair is completely restored and finished in american oak, not walnut. The connectors are swapped with quality banana jack plugs to accomodate thicker audiophile speaker cables. While not pictured, the original brown fabric grilles are present, in good condition, with original badges.
A burning debate still runs nowadays about the L26 being better than the 3-way L36. We believe it's like preferring one of your child over an other… for us, the sound is fabulous, period.
Listen to them, at Vintage Note we are serious about good vintage JBL because we love them and we know you will as well. And year after year, these L series are becoming harder to find due to the rising interest of vintage high-fidelity. Get yours before your neightbour does…
