IMF Electronics
IMF Electronics was founded in 1968 in Greenford, Middlesex, England, by John Wright and Irving M. Fried.
The brand specialized strictly in uncompromised transmission line loudspeakers.
The name IMF derived from Irving M. Fried's initials, who distributed John Wright's British transmission line speaker designs in North America.
Between 1970 and 1995, IMF Electronics built large-scale monitor speakers known for effortless low-frequency extension down to 20Hz. Key models included the IMF Domestic Monitor, the IMF Professional Monitor Mark III, and the IMF RSPM (Reference Standard Professional Monitor) Mark IV, incorporating KEF and Coles drivers.
