Past the audio quality, what else to consider with vintage Hi-Fi?

We have presented what we consider the three modern groups of home audio gear today. What is common to most of these devices, is that they heavily rely on miniature, integrated chips and semiconductors.

This make those devices poorly opened to repairs, and most of the time not repairable at all.

We are not happy to hear this today. Most of us have have concern about the fast paced production of obsolete or dangerous rubbish. We want to limit garbage and the stress on rare materials.

But the music lovers don't need more than a nice system and a pair of great quality loudspeakers that drives music to their ears. And their children won't need no more.

Choosing and maintaining good quality gear, built to last, is a smart and sustainable action, for today and for tomorrow; as we have still plenty of repair options available for this great equipment.

At Vintage Note, we strongly believe it's the right thing to do. Do you?
