Epos
Epos Loudspeakers was founded in 1983 in Southall, England, by loudspeaker designer Robin Marshall.
Epos focused purely on high-performance bookshelf loudspeakers.
Robin Marshall designed Epos crossover networks with extreme simplicity—often eliminating crossover components on the woofer entirely and using only a single capacitor on the tweeter to maximize phase coherence.
Between 1983 and 1995, Epos earned classic status with two iconic bookshelf models: the Epos ES14 (1986), featuring a rigid cabinet and custom injection-molded bass driver, and the smaller Epos ES11 (1991), incorporating a molded polymer front baffle.
