Sansui
Sansui Electric was founded in 1947 in Tokyo, Japan, by Kosaku Kikuchi.
Beginning as a transformer manufacturer, Sansui built a reputation for high-end stereo receivers and amplifiers.
Between 1970 and 1995, Sansui built iconic integrated amplifiers and monster receivers. Notable models included the AU-9500 and AU-9900 integrated amplifiers in the 1970s, the G-9000 and G-33000 monster receivers (delivering over 300W/ch), and the AU-D11 / AU-X901 'Alpha' series integrated amplifiers in the 1980s and 1990s.
