I'm too far for a visit. Do you ship your items?

This page has been fully rewritten after almost 2 years in business. We will try to provide a comprehensive overview.

We will always favour a one to one listening session, we do believe it's all the point… listen, test, compare. We make eight sales out of ten sharing with an enthusiast.

But yes, we can ship. But please, read the below, you will spare your time (and loads of ours).

Fact: we do not have any plans to make money on shipping. We are not like a famous auction site where it is common to pay more in shipping than the object itself.

Fact: shipping demands us to pack carefully, bring the device to the carrier etc. Again, we do not take a premium on shipping. It is a service we offer you.

Fact: at the moment, 8 out of 10 answers we provide about shipping do not get a reply. Even if it's a mere €15 over the price.

Fact: shipping costs money. No, there is no shipping included in the price - we are not Amazon…. No, shipping is not free. But we will make the best effort to get you the best deal if you are in the EU27. Read below about EU27 and other shipping.

Please be conscious that most units are somehow large and heavy, so shipping charges can be significant if you are far from us.

In the EU27:

Shipping units (excluding speakers) in EU27 rarely go over €50. But it's almost never cheap like €10, due to the weight. Bookshelf speakers do ship, for the bigger ones you may be disappointed.

We also appreciate that if we do make the effort to collect a quote for you, you provide an answer if not ready to support the shipping. 8 out of 10 answers we provide about shipping do not get a reply. Adding €20 for a €400€ amplifier (that's 5%) does not sound like a rip off…

Outside the EU27:

For UK, Switzerland… the total cost of shipping, taxes etc. is high, and unpredictable, due to export paperwork related to your situation. If you want to buy and are outside the EU27, YOU can simulate your overall charges based on your situation, the size and the weight. Major carriers like UPS for instance, can address this online. We refrain doing the exercise for you, because it demands time for us and it demands you to provide lots of information anyway. Only true, motivated buyers invest in the process, and then cleverly make a decision based on true, exact amounts. But if you do manage the shipping, be sure we will provide great care with the packaging, including labels and proforma, picking etc. It is harmful to read comments like "if you don't do the process for me, i'll buy elsewhere". Do so, mate.

Shipping charges for heavy stuff (speakers…) to the US, Canada… can match the price of the equipment so you probably can find a better deal locally. See below an example.

Risks:

We will provide cautious and strong packaging, but we positively decline all potential damage occuring during shipping. That can happen, even if the received parcel does not look molested. Again, you may manage the shipping and insure the goods on your end.

Example : shipping one pair of Celestion Ditton 33 Speakers
This is an approximate cost exercise for shipping one pair of Celestion Ditton 33 speakers. This is purely non binding as details can influence the cost further, like your location, etc. and rates change frequently based on fuel costs. Simulation date Nov 2024.

Belgium, France: €50 + potential increased insurance coverage

Madrid, Spain: €65

London, UK: €90 (slow shipping) +  extra charges: customs on your end + VAT + handling fees -  these extras are ± €155 so the overhead for a €400 pair is ±€245. Buy local !

New York, USA: €380 + customs and charges on your end. So you will go over the double of the selling price. Buy local!

Middle East : €700 and over + customs charges on your end. No comment.
