In the late sixties started an approach shared by creative sound engineers and contemporary musicians. Driven by the capabilities offered by new recording equipment, they experimented, searching for a tone, some roundness, some sound that was an integral part of their artistic approach in the conception of a record. We call this the color of the sound.
